As per reports, early morning today at 3:30 am, 12 Mirage fighter jets crossed the Line of control and attacked terror camps and went on to drop 1000 kgs of bombs, and destroyed the camps. Though Pakistan denied loss of life or property, their Army spokesperson said that IAF violated line of control and then went back.
This has been a followup to the heinous attack on CRPF Jawans on February 14 at Pulwama, by Jaish E Mohammad Terror outfit, leading to death of 40 soldiers. Following this, there were several encounters last week, and in these attacks, the mastermind of the attack Ghazi Rasheed was shot dead, while there were casualties in Indian army side as well.
And the attack that has happened today has carried forward the momentum, as Indian airforce crossed the Line of Control and attacked Pakistan's Muzaffarabad and Pakistan occupied Kashmir, and it has been reported that more than 2 camps of the Jaish E Mohammed were destroyed, and after the arrival of the Pakistan airforce, the Indian jet returned. It has been said that more than 200 terrorists might have been killed. This has created a tense situation at the border, with signs of a war.
