In a retaliation move from the Indian side for the deadly Pulwama attacks conducted by Pakistan based Jaish E Mohammed outfit, today the Indian airforce had stunned the nation with their attack on terror outfits by crossing the Line of Control and entering Pakistan occupied Kashmir as well as Pakistan and dropping bombs and attacking.

The timeline of events that happened are as follows. The attack has been called as Surgical strike 2, and this powerful attack lasted for a total of 21 minutes. There were 12 Mirage IAF jets involved in the surgical strike 2, and they were divided into groups of 4 jets and the operation was conducted.

While the jets crossed the LoC as early as 3:30 AM, the attack was conducted in Balakot in Pakistan between 3:45 and 3:53 AM. this, another team of jets attacked Muzaffarabad between 3:48 to 3:55 AM and another attack was carried out at Chakoti between 3:35 and 4:04 AM. It has been said that with 1000 kg bombs droppped, more than 3 control rooms of Jaish E Mohammed were destroyed, and around 300 terrorists might have been killed.
