Nag, in an interview, opened up saying that he would love to do historical movies.

Answering a query what would he try differently, Nagarjuna replied saying he would love to do a movie of historical importance. He told that he was open to characters like ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Ramadasu’ and at the same time, act in movies historical movies like the kings, etc.

Nag also said that the Telugu audience are in search of variety and have made hits like ‘Magadheera’ blockbusters. He added that Telugu audience welcomed different stories and said that if any of the new generation directors approached him with stories inspired by Hollywood flicks like ‘Gladiator’, ‘Troy’, etc he would definitely work with them.

He said that commercial cinema is opening to new avenues and the audience is bored of the regular formula movies. Well said Nag, your right!
