After back-to-back successes with some exceptions since 'Ishq' (2012), Nithiin is one of the few examples of a hero who bounced back resoundingly after almost a decade of flops.
When director Vikram Kumar chose him as his hero, his father Sudhakar Reddy teamed up with another producer to make the film. As per Nithiin, the stakes were too high. Had the rom-com flopped, he would have quit acting. "I would have come to the conclusion that people don't want to see him," he has said in an interview.
In the event, the film was a big hit. Today, Nithiin is doing his 25th movie in the joint production of his icon, Pawan Kalyan, and 'guru', Trivikram Srinivas.
What more can he ask for?
