Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan today held a press meet, wherein he was flanked by certain student representatives.
He said that he was happy with the APPSC's decision to defer Group-II exams in view of the demands that have been made by aspirants. There was special focus on his party's stand on the Telangana Government's attempts to keep Indira Park's Dharna Chowka away from protesters' reach. He recalled how he himself staged a dharna at the venue as a member of Praja Rajyam Party and got arrested.
Expectedly, he was asked to clarify about his stance on the North-South divide. Pawan said that he has only been saying what politicians think privately. He said that many politicians have talked to him about the dominance of North Indian elites. "They may be silent today, but my stance will be the same even if Modi garu were to be in front of me," he said.
