Allu Sirish, who is making his debut with the film 'Gouravam' has shared his experiences about the movie, his future plans and his views on the present film makers.

Are you feeling nervous at the release of your debut film?

Actually I am excited. Yes, I am also nervous at how the audience will receive me. We have tried something new and something bold. It is a subject never touched by anyone. So I am curious at how the audience will receive it.

You are saying it as a bold subject and it is a movie on communal violence. How did you dare to act in a film like this?

It is a universal problem and they have selected me as they need someone who can talk in both Telugu and Tamil and also who looks like both Telugu and Tamil guy. It is bold decision, in the sense it is a sensitive issue and all are aware about it but no one is ready to talk about it.

You have done masters and running a magazine. You have the capacity do judge a movie. How did you feel when you watched the first copy of the movie. Do you think it will connect to the audience?

I am satisfied with the output. The audience will love it as many will look for a movie with a good story. The movie will not bore and it moves at a very fast pace. We have changed the climax according to the taste of Telugu audience. I am very proud to be a part of such a good movie.

Allu Arjun has the support of Aravind and Charan had the support of Chiranjeevi, when they made their debut? Who has okayed the story of this movie for you?

Prakash Raj had said the story to both my father and Chiranjeevi. They said that it is an experimental subject and asked me if they want to search regular stories for me. I said them that I will prefer those commercial subjects from next movie. Sirish's debut should only be a add on and audience should not come to the theatres only because of my debut. They should watch because it is a good movie and I said that I want to be a part of this project and they agreed.

Do you think you have danced well compared to the present generation heroes like Charan and Bunny?

I will do it from my next movie and I hope I will give my best .

Are you happy at acting in a different movie and a film unlike others?

Yes I am absolutely happy and contented at acting in a movie like this.

Will Allu Arjun give any suggestions to you?

Yes he gives suggestions regarding career planning, but not about acting. Because you may loss your freedom of acting when you take suggestions. But once he suggested me not to imitate anyone.

Will you continue to act in movies like this?

Yes, definitely. But it doesn't mean I will only make movies like this. Between every two commercial movies, I will try to make a movie with a good subject like this.

What is the justification of the title? Do you think it is justified?

We have said the justification of the title in the trailers. Gouravam (respect) will not come only because you are born in a good family or a higher caste. It comes only because of you. The title is justified in the movie for sure.

Till now, no one has ever touched the subject relating caste? With what guts did you act in a movie like this?

Yes no one has ever touched this subject. But, I have opted for this movie because it is my real life character. I don't know what is my caste a few years back and I will not consider it. The subject has touched me because of this. But I am eager to watch how the audience will receive it. There are definitely some classes of audience who will receive movies like this. I am sure that all the audience will be convinced by visually watching the problem in the movie and they will love the movie.

Some will be considered as heroes and someone as actors. Are you a hero or an actor?

I really don't know the exact difference between both. But I try to be both a good hero and an actor.

What are your upcoming projects? Are you looking for commercial subjects?

My next film is not yet confirmed. I am supposed to do my next film in Geetha arts, but nothing is yet finalized.

It is heard that you are acting in 100% love remake in Tamil. Is it true?

100% Love was produced in our banner and many are approaching us for the remake rights of it. It is a good movie and so rather than giving it outside, I kept it as an option. But remakes do not give so much excitement as a straight movie.

Will you make all bilingual films in the future?

No. I will make straight movies in straight only. If a director who knows both the languages approaches with a good subject, I will consider it.

Is making a bilingual easy or hard ?

It is very hard especially for a director to understand both the audiences and make a film. For an actor, it is not so hard.In my case I can read and write both Telugu and Tamil. So it is easy for me. I don't know how it will be for other actors.

What are your hobbies?

I watch movies. I read a lot of books. I try to keep in touch with Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. I like to chill out with my friends at coffee shops with friends. I love to travel and my favourite place is Mumbai as I studied there.

There should have been so much pressure on you to make a film with you by new comers. They will have talent though they cannot express. Did you experience any such kind of pressure?

So many have said me stories, but no one excited me even in the script level.

Will you make movies with those who are making short films?

No I will not make movies with them. I have met a few of them and heard their stories. They were good. But the content is not enough. It is easier to make a 10 minutes short film, but carrying it to a big film is very hard. Many are being inspired by watching Maruthi.
