Megastar Chiranjeevi made a sensational statement on Tuesday. At the launch of UTV's new channel in Hyderabad, Chiru said that he will not act in movies anymore. Chiranjeevi said that his fans can see him in Ramcharan Tej hereafter and bless his son as an actor.

" I am serious on politics.I have come to public life now and I want to remain here. It won't be fair to shift my focus on acting now. Since Ramcharan Tej is here to entertain my fans, I am sure my fans can see myself in him. I want to dedicate myself to public service." he said.

Also reacting to another question from a journalist on whether he will play the role of a CM in any movie he said that people want him to become Chief Minister in real life.

"What is the need to act as CM in movies when people want me to become CM in real life" Chiranjeevi said.

With Chiranjeevi's statement, all the rumours about his 150th film have been dispelled. Megastar has categorically said that he won't act in films hereafter.
