Bandla Ganesh, who was recently appointed as the official spokesperson of Telangana Congress, has made a juicy claim. In an interview to a TV channel, the actor-turned-politician got carried away when he was confronted with a question on Kodandaram having been neglected in Mahakutami.

"Our alliance is being led by Kodandaram garu. When we form the government, he is going to take care of a major portfolio," Bandla said. At this, the host suggested that Kodandaram will get it provided the Mahakutami comes to power.

Curiously, Bandla then said, "If Congress doesn't win this elections, I will slit my throat with a 7 O'Clock blade. I will kill myself on December 11 at this very spot."

The interviewer then remarked that Bandla is behaving like a die-hard Congressman even though he joined the party only a few months ago. "I am saying this only because I know Congress won't lose the elections. I will not have any need to commit suicide," Bandla thundered with his typical confidence.
