From Oohalu Gusagusalade, Jil, Shivam and Bengal Tiger to the recent Bellam Sridevi act in Supreme, Raashi Khanna has surely come a long way since her debut in 2014. The Hyderabad-based actress of Punjabi origin is pretty happy with her choices. Of course, she has had to reject a number of offers to retain her identity, even if it meant shocking others at times.

"Many were surprised at how many films I was rejecting. However, I realize today that commercial films in Telugu, which come with playful song N' dance interludes, have won me so many accolades," the soon-to-be-released Hyper and Oxygen actress avers.

As someone who looks for films with strong content and meaty characters for herself, Raashi wants to do both out-and-out commercial films as well as aesthetically romantic movies like Geethanjali. Sharing an interesting anecdote, Raashi adds, "At a recent outing to Rajahmundry, scores of fans were asking me as to when I will be seen in a 'voora' mass film. It took me some time to understand what they meant by it. They meant out N' out commercial films. I will do whatever they want to see me in. After all, my audiences are my mainstay".
