I will counter their machinations: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan has given a typically emotional speech at Jana Sena Sankharavam in Guntur. In his known style, he speechified that he enjoys vast popular support.

My rivals have had machinations against me. If I don't counter them in the same coin, I wouldn't call myself by my name. The political system is messy. Someone who is ready to sacrifice his life alone can tame the looters and incompetent leaders. I will keep questioning regardless of consequences. We have nothing to lose but our chains. We are fed up with the powers-that-be. I cooperated with TDP in the past. Now is the time to confront it, Pawan said.

People are attending my rallies in large numbers. If they wanted to merely see me, they would have watched me in movies. But they are coming to my rallies in droves because they support my politics, he added.

If you want to become a teacher, you have to do B.Ed. If you want to become an IPS officer, you have to clear the required exams. In the same way, I wanted to first learn the ropes before wanting to hold a position. That's why I had been observing the cruel, corrupted system for years. I am strong-willed enough to run a political party in a tent. I don't need crores of rupees, Power Star thundered.

He lamented that Chandrababu Naidu has dilly-dallied and changed his words frequently. He is like a Ghajini who keeps forgetting about special status. Once every 6 months, he remembers special service and does lip service. Same with Jagan Mohan Reddy garu, the chief said. We need to fight collectively. Our youths need jobs. We need industries. The TDP and YSRCP leaders have to ponder. It's a matter of self-respect, he added.

During the speech, Pawan cursorily touched upon issues related to education, health, etc. Why are we failing to produce high-end engineers? In our youths, I see great scientists, professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs. Why don't our leaders find any in our people? They are too busy doing nepotism and corruption, he said.
