SS Thaman's music for Dictator' has been a big success and commemorating the same, the makers held a Platinum Disc function today. The event was graced by the who's who of the film, with Balakrishna being praised to the skies by one and all.

Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna said that he was thankful to Eros International for being a part of the project. Further, he said, "Titles like Legend', Simha', Lion' and now Dictator' generate expectations. Our film has very good scenes like in Legend', songs of all genres like item song, family song and more. I have always felt that apart from music, editing is of paramount importance for a film. We started off the film in Amaravathi and everything went well in a breezy, amusing environment. We shot two songs in Bulgaria, one fight in Switzerland. If I'm looking younger than my age in this film, it's because of Shyam K Naidu."

He further continued saying that having done all kinds of films including socio-fantasy and mythologicals like Sri Rama Rajyam', he doesn't think he is in competition with any. "I compete with myself. I don't care about others. If at all competition has to come, it has to be from my son and my grandson," he said to cheers.

"I express my gratitude towards all my directors and producers. In particular, this film has come out very well. Even a single miscasting can damage a film. Right from casting to technical departments, everything has gone well with this film. Anjali has done a very good job and I'm proud of acting with a Telugu girl. Her grasp and involvement are very good. If we have more and more artists like her, we can do wonders. Suman, who looks dignified, has a very good role here. Rathi Agnihothri agreed to act in the film at the first opportunity. Sonal Chouhan has a good role," Balayya said.

He further said that Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan, Sridhar Sipana, and Rathnam have elevated the film with their writing.
