Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is in China, has sent across his condolence message on hearing about the unfortunate demise of veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao. Here is his message:

"Learnt the news about Dasari Garu's death when I am here in China. Extremely shaken by the shocking loss. My last and impactful memory with him was when, only a few days ago, I met him on his birthday to present the Allu Ramalingaiah Award.

"His demise is a personal loss to each one of us, and I will carry his warmth, affection and fondness for me in my heart, for ever. His services to the Telugu film industry won't be forgotten. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace."

Ram Charan , echoing his father's views, said that Dasari's death is an irreparable loss to the cine industry.
