I watched Pathala Bhairavi 25 times: Mahesh

  • IndiaGlitz, [Friday,February 10 2012]

That Mahesh looks up at his father, Superstar Krishna, as a demi-god is known to the world. He has iterated many times in the past that his father's professionalism and dedication are his inspiration. What many of you might not know is that, Mahesh is a fan of NTR as well. He regards NTR's films as classics. Pathala Bhairavi, one such classic, he watched it a good 25 times!

In the current generation superstars, Pawan Kalyan and Junior NTR are big fans of the legendary star. While PK and Mahesh will not be very willing to remake an NTR magnum opus, the grandson could do it when he thinks he has attained that maturity. (He said this as much that he (Junior) has a long way to go for a mythological).

Mahesh has categorically stated that he will not touch the classics, be it of his father (like Alluri Sitharamaraju) or that of NTR, with barge pole. They are marvels. I do not want to spoil them by remaking them, Mahesh has stated.
