I was offered a Hindi film: Ram

Not many know that Ram was offered a Hindi film after the release of Ready. However, the actor did not choose to go national, as he was not mentally prepared for the bigger task. But I did not go Bollywood because I want to concentrate my efforts in building up my image here in Tollywood, the actor was quoted as saying to a newspaper.

Ram believes that it is better to foster the recognition one has in the home turf, rather than try to attempt something bigger without adequate preparation.

Coming to what he thinks is the most challenging aspect of launching a film, he says that it is getting a heroine's call sheets. Since there is a dearth of heroines in the industry, the producers are finding it hard to get their dates.
