I was misunderstood: Kajal Agarwal

Actress Kajal Agarwal whose remarks in Mumbai that 'she never considered herself a South actress' sparked off a controversy. After an English dialy in Hyderabad broke the news on her statements, South Indian film fraternity lashed out against her and demanded her aplology.

Many directors even asked the South Indian film chamber to ban her from South. Shocked at the reaction, Kajal claimed that she didn't mean to offend South film makers or the industry.

She clarified that the journalist in Mumbai misunderstood her and therefore there was a 'miscommunication'. Talking to a few media personnel she said that she will continue to do South films and she likes this industry a lot.

We are yet to see how South Indian directors and producers react to her clarification.
