Actor Dhanush`s film Maari` is going to release on a grand scale tomorrow and the advance reservations are tremendous. All the shows for the first weekend have been booked in all the theatres in Chennai.

Meanwhile the Maari` team had organized a Press meet today.Here is what Dhanush spoke about the 'Maari' and the team behind the film:

"Two years back Balaji Mohan gave three scripts to me and said one of them was written keeping me in mind. I selected one among them and Balaji said that`s what he wrote for me. That is Maari`. Balaji Mohan has made different films before, but with this film he has proved he is a pucca commercial director. He can make commercial films only after this. He has made the movie in a way better than what he promised before we started the film. I thank him for that.

Anirudh`s music has a separate grace. Its happy to note you, friend or an younger brother going to such heights. His music is a big plus point for this film. More than songs RR will be a big plus for the film. Anirudh has worked extraordinarily for this film.

Robo Shankar is phenomenal and extraordinary talent. This film will be a big break for him. His one-liners and small reactions will make the theatre roar in laughter.

Vinod is a very good actor. He never thinks that camera is in his front o him. I have rarely seen this quality even in senior actors. We have formed a new villain team for this film.

Kajal agarwal is not just for romance and comedy in this film. She has a powerful character. She has done it convincingly.

When Balaji suggested me Vijay Yesudoss for the Villain role I was doubtful. I personally know him for 7-8 years. I felt he looked soft for the character. But Balaji wanted to cast him. Only after watching the film I came to know the power of a director`s judgment. Vijay Yesudoss has given what is perfect for the character.

Editor Prasanna, deserves special thanks for making the trailer cut. This film has become hot property and most expected film only because of the reach of the trailer. We heard that the advance reservations are tremendous. This is only because of the impact of the trailer. I should thank Prasanna for that itself. This is his maiden film.

Producers Sarathkumar sir Radhika mam all have become my friends. I have never seen them as producers. Sarath sir has told that I am his younger brother. We have started getting along well. It`s a very friendly team and very friendly experience.

Maari is a very good film. It`s Special film. I had a feeling that I have not done a complete commercial entertainer for long and I was yearning to do one. Trailer is the film. You will like the film if you like the trailer. I should thank Balaji Mohan for giving this film."

Producer R.Sarathkumar appreciated the team`s effort. "Once you finish the film it is very important to create a good impression about the film. This film has created it because of the efforts of entire team. Watch it in theatres and only in theatres. I wish the entire team a grand success.

Dhanush is a wonderful star I believe dhanush will become a very big actor in Indian cinema I will wait for his call-sheet to act with him."

Director Balaji Mohan said that the script was tailor made for Dhanush and he thanked the National award winning actor for trusting him and giving this opportunity.
