'Nawab' and 'Sye Raa' actor Vijay Sethupathi recently started shooting for his next movie in Tamil. This one is produced by a production house named Chandaraa Arts. The project was launched with Amala Paul as the heroine, but later she was replaced by Megha Akash. Recently, the production house stated that it was because of issues with Amala's dates.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Amala Paul has issued a sensational statement, revealing that she did not opt out voluntarily, but was thrown out of the movie. She wrote that she had been to Mumbai to purchase clothes for the movie and was spending her own money for the accommodation and travel, and for the mere demand of accommodation in Ooty, she was thrown out from the project.

The actress added that no calls were made to discuss before being booted out of the project. Amala added that this has happened especially after the release of 'Aadai' teaser (in which the versatile actress has done a bare-all act), and it is because of the "patriarchal, egoistic mindset of the production house" that it has come to his.
