Sandeep Reddy Vanga of 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Kabir Singh' has revealed that he wanted to make a film on the legendary Hyderabad student leader George Reddy, who was assassinated by his rivals in 1972. He toyed with the idea for several years, but it took 'Dalam' director Jeevan Reddy to make it happen. Starring Sandeep Madhav in the lead, the biopic will hit the screens on November 22.

Plugging the film's trailer, which has clocked more than 2 million views, Sandeep Reddy says, "GEORGE REDDY.....A rebellion research scholar and a great leader. A project I always wanted to discover and was always on my priority cards!!! I appreciate and envy Jeevan reddy, Rami and team for an outstanding effort and wish them all the success."

Backed by Abhishek Pictures, this socio-political biopic also stars Satyadev, Krishna Chaitanya, Abhay Bethiganti and others.
