I want to look beautiful and glamorous - Jyothirmayi

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,August 13 2008]

Actress Jyothirmayi belongs to the school of thought that declares emphatically that married actresses can be compared to women working in other professions like banks, schools, etc. But then actresses are expected to look glamorous and sexy if their career graphs should soar.

Jyothirmayi questions, 'what is wrong if a married woman happens to be an actress and acts glamorous? I was introduced to the Tamil film industry only after I married. I don't think there is anything wrong in acting in a sexy and glamorous way'.

She also added that she is acting as a mighty glamorous girl in a Kannada film titled 'Panthubalaga'. 'Tamil audiences accepted me with films such as Thalainagaram' and 'Naan Avan Illai'. Kannada audiences are accepting me now and I am a complete professional. I am leading a very happily married life'.

'I want to look beautiful and glamorous on screen' says the actress from Kerala.
