R K who played the baddie in Bala's 'Vaadu-Veedu' is happy with the box office response for this movie. 'Vaadu-Veedu' got good openings in Telugu thanks to large scale movie promotion by producer Vikram Krishna.

Talking to the media about the movie, R K confessed that he agreed to play a villain in this film as director Bala promised to cast him as hero in his next movie.

"I produced a few movies in Tamil. I also played a hero in five movies. Bala sir told me that if I played a villain in this flick, he will give me a chance to play a hero in his next movie. As promised, he gave me a chance to be one of the heroes in his next film" R K said.

R K says that he wants to produce a few films in Telugu too and wants to play villain roles in Telugu films.

"I am glad with the kind of response audience here gave for 'Vaadu-Veedu'. I guess my fame here is similar to what Gabbar Singh got in 'Sholey'. I am keen on playing villain roles in Telugu films. The credit for the success of 'Vaadu-Veedu' goes to director Bala. The fights were naturally shot and hero Vishal got injured too while shooting. I kept my moustache and beard for over an year for this movie" R K said.
