Up and coming actress Nikitha, who is currently busy acting opposite Sibiraj in Vel Vel, has a high ambition.

She says 'my cherished desire is to act alongside Vijayakanth'.

But with the Captain being busy with his political career, Nikitha's ambition may take time to be fulfilled.

The actress who made her debut in Tamil with Kurumbu has acted so far in ten movies including Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.

"Though I have acted in several languages in my short career so far, Tamil film industry has really impressed me. Meaningful movies with strong message are being churned out only here", she says.

"I want to do good films and leave an impression with the audience".

On glamour becoming an important thing for heroines, Nikitha says, "unfortunately the situation has worsened these days. Glamour only sells. I hope the situation would change soon".

On her future aspirations, she says,"‘I would certainly love to do a movie opposite Vijayakanth, whom I love for his stunning action sequences".
