Madalasa Sharma, who acted in films like 'Fitting Master', directed by E.V.V.Satyanarayana, Nikhil's 'Alasyam Amrutham', produced by legendary producer Dr.D.Ramanaidu and 'Mem Vayasuku Vacham',is going to be seen in the promotional song of 'Ramleela', which will be released on Feb 27th.

In an exclusive interview with Indiaglitz, Madalasa Sharma shares her experiences working for the film, her memories working with legendary producer Dr.D.Ramanaidu, her future plans

What is the reason for such a long gap in Telugu ?

After acting in Telugu films like 'Fitting Master' and 'Alasyam Amrutham', I was offered the Bollywood film 'Angel', directed by Ganesh Acharya. Then after though I acted in 'Mem Vayasuku Vacham', I got busy in other industries. I even acted in a German film. So I have to take a small break in Telugu. Now 'Ramleela', the film in which I danced for an energetic promotional song, will be released on Feb 27th. I also acted in Uday Kiran's last movie 'Chitram Cheppina Katha' and it will also be released soon.

What is 'Ramleela' all about ?

I just danced for the promotional song and I've nothing to do with the film. But the promotional song is included in the film. It is a very energetic number and cinematography by S.Gopal Reddy is really superb. I am really blessed to have worked with him. I was surprised with the energy of Havish in the song.

I've watched the film and it is really superb. It is a really entertaining movie with a lot of action, dances, comedy etc. I am that extra excitement for the movie. I spiced up the movie with the song. I am sure the movie will entertain the audiences.

How was the experience working with the director and Havish ?

Sripuram Kiran is a director with a lot of clarity in what he does. Working with him has been really a great experience, because not many directors have clarity like him. Havish is really a great human being and a very good actor. He looks very smart and he will sure surprise the audiences with his energy and performance in the movie. I am really happy to have worked with such a good team.

You did a promotional song for this film. Are you ready to do item songs in Telugu ?

The song I did in 'Ramleela' won't fall into the category of item songs. It is a very special song. But I am actress and I am ready to do anything that helps a film. If my item song helps a movie, I will definitely do it.

You've worked with a legendary producer like Dr.D.Ramanaidu, who passed away recently. What are your memories working with him ?

I don't know what I've to tell now. Because, I was shocked with the death of such a great producer. I don't any other producer in our country would be as spirited and as hardworking as him.Even when working for 'Alasyam Amrutham', he used to be on the sets every time and took care of us. He introduced a lot of talented actors and technicians to the industry. He always encourages new talent. Telugu industry will really miss him. I cherish the experiences working with him everyday and I pray his soul rests in peace.

With whom do you want to work with in Telugu ?

I've to work with everyone. But if I've to pick some actors, I really love to work with Mahesh Babu. I always look up to him. I also want to work with Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Allu Arjun. I did an ad with NTR and I would love to do a film with him.

Madalasa Sharma finally said that 'Ramleela' is a paisa vasool entertainer and her song will be the special attraction for the movie.
