It was with the 2002 film 'Eeshwar' that Prabhas debuted as an actor. Directed by Jayanth C Paranje, it was produced by Ashok Kumar.

Speaking honestly in a recent interview, Ashok Kumar recently revealed that he had sought an astrologer's opinion on Prabhas' horoscope before signing him up for the movie. "I was inclined to taking the horoscope of my heroes before signing them up. In Prabhas's case, the astrologer told me his future is bright," the producer says.

The astrologer's prophesy has stood the test of time. Not only has the Rebel Star gone on to become a big star in Tollywood but also achieved nation-wide fame with 'Baahubali'. "After 'Eeshwar', Prabhas showed interest to work with me again. But I am someone who doesn't approach anybody when his career is going well," Ashok says.
