Have you fallen in love? Yes indeed you must have!
The one you have loved could be fair or dark, tall or short, chirpy or serious, cute or stud, but then have you ever been someone who is just with you - LITERALLY? You must have wanted your better half to be there 'for your eyes only'. But then what if that happens for real and you are the only one in this entire world who can actually see your love?
What would you do then?
Ask Raj Jaiswal who has found himself at such a juncture of life and is soon to fall in love with someone who is invisible to rest of the world around him. She demands all the attention from him since he is the only one who can see her!
Interesting, isn't it? But let's talk about Raj first!
He is a Casanova who is the star attraction of the TV show British Raj for India Shining TV channel where he is an anchor. His funds in the life is clear. Be courteous to women, be at your charming best, treat a woman deserves the way she deserves to be treated and in no time you would have her in your arms! He flirts, her excites, he seduces but he never falls in love.
Until....
It was just another of those nights when all that Raj wanted was to crash on his bed. He did find someone in his room that night. His only trouble? He was the only one for whom she existed. And now she wanted to be close to him.
She was Shivani Dutt [Vipasha], daughter of Mrs. Dutt [Kirron Kher].
But was she a scary ghost? Or was it a figment of Raj's imagination? No, this wasn't true. She was a wandering spirit whose body was in the twilight zone between life and death. The house where Raj lived belonged to Shivani and that's the connection which brings her close to Raj.
But would all this turn out to be one haunted ghost story with eerie situations? Or would the tide be a little different in this case and a beautiful love story would develop between the two?
It had to be latter!
And now begins a sweet'n'saccharine love story that was never ever heard before and would never be told again!
In this love story of his, Raj had only a few close people whom he could trust. His best friend and co-worker Akshay [Chunky Pandey], his wife Kuljeet Kapoor [Sonali Kulkarni] who prided herself on being a friendly neighborhood wife beater or Dr. Patnaik [Boman Irani], a psychiatrist, for whom this was the most puzzling problem cases ever!
Raj sings, dances and hangs around with his sweetheart. But destiny has its own game to play as good times do not really promise to last forever. Shivani's spirit may have been Raj but her comatose body was in the hospital in care of a doctor who wanted to unplug her life support forever.
Would Raj fight to not make this happen? And if so, how would he do that? What would be the reason that he would give to the medical authorities? And would they understand his point of view?
He tries his best. And when it doesn't succeed, he breaks the law.
