Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Rangasthalam', Samantha Akkineni talked about why she wanted to give her 100 percent to the character.
"Sukumar garu is a very nice person. He does everything with love. When he narrated the script to me, I wasn't listening to what he was saying. Rather, I was looking into his eyes. I realized that he had written the character of Rama Lakshmi with so much love. I took it as a challenge to give my best to the character," Samantha said.
"What 'Swayam Krushi' is to Chiranjeevi garu, 'Rangasthalam' will be to Charan. His Chitti Babu act will be remembered for long. I also thank him for being an honest, genuine and caring co-star," she remarked.
About Devi Sri Prasad's music, she said, "Even before the film's release, it's his music that has given the feeling of a blockbuster."
The art director Ramakrishna will romp home all the awards, she added.
