Dictator has wowed no less a personality than the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In his chit-chat with IndiaGlitz, director Sriwass has revealed this.
"The story of Dictator may not be new, but it has been received very well. Balayya babu's fans have been calling me up and saying that the film is better than what they had expected. With a big star like him, I could not have experimented with a new kind of story and risk a failure. Novel stories have only a 50% chance of becoming a success. The idea was to project Balayya babu in a way he was never shown in the 98 films he had done before," he said.
"Just imagine! Someone legendary like Chandrababu Naidu garu, the CM of a State, called me up and congratulated me saying they are very happy with Dictator. He told me that the film made everyone raise their head with pride. This is very big," he said.
