Samantha Akkineni was trolled last year when she posted a revealing pic of hers on social media.  She was in a bikini, relaxing on the side of a beach.  The trolls called her names and asked her to be in her limits.  

Talking about it, the actress has said in her latest interview that she uploaded the pic to make a point.  "I posted the beach pic on purpose because you shouldn't believe in your mind that these are the rules and regulations that a girl should follow.  People are fixated on what a girl should wear, what a married woman should or shouldn't do.  Such kind of thinking needs to be broken," Sam said.

She added, "I do certain things to break the norm.  You should be how you are and I should be how I am."

The Akkineni 'kodalu' awaits the release of 'U Turn' on Sept 13 in both Telugu and Tamil.
