Kota Srinivas Rao, who is considered a legendary actor, has made some sensational remarks. In his latest interview, days after the MAA elections, the veteran actor, who was most recently seen in ‘Konda Polam’, said that he is loyal to the Kamma community.
Giving his reason, Kota noted that he owes his bread and butter to Kammas, who have given him work for the last 40 years in the Telugu film industry, where a lot of producers, directors and other stakeholders belong to the Kamma caste.
“I owe 95% of my livelihood to Kammas. That’s why I am biased in their favour,” Kota said, adding that he doesn’t mind talking about his loyalty towards them overtly.
He also backed Mohan Babu, who has been criticized by the Prakash Raj panel for alleged misbehaviour during the MAA elections. “He is short-tempered by nature. But he is not harmful. He did threaten me sometimes but he never meant it,” Kota said.
Recently, Naga Babu described Kota as a beast because he backed Mohan Babu and also said that Prakash Raj is a non-local person unfit to lead the MAA.
