Sidharth Malhotra's Bollywood journey had started with a bang, but after that the actor failed to deliver consistently good performances. On the other hand, his 'Student Of The Year' co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt went on to have relatively better careers. There is no denying that Sidharth has a lot of potential and he has proved that with his brilliant portrayal of war hero Captain Vikram Batra in last year's 'Shershah'.
In a recent media interaction, Sidharth looked back at his journey and stated that his good looks have also played a part in him not getting good and exciting roles.
He told India Today, "I never thought that being easy on the eyes would be a negative in this profession. I thought we were here to face the camera and be easy on the eyes, but sometimes it tends to be negative.” He continued, “People like to see superficial things and not really connect to them.”
As of now, Sidharth will soon be seen in the comedy drama 'Thank God' and post that he has films like 'Mission Majnu' and 'Yodha' under production.
