“Though I am not interested in politics now, I may take a political plunge in future due to circumstances,” says Ajith, clearing the air on buzz surrounding his political entry, in view of the fast approaching Assembly elections.

“And even if I enroll myself in a political party, I would never run behind posts and positions. Because, my seniors would be there and they should get their due recognition first,” he says.

“I should be given with a task at first and the leadership should wait and watch how I accomplish it,” the ‘Thala’ says and adds: “Only then I would accept any official post in the party.”

In a clear message to his fans, he says, “I would ensure that my political entry would not affect my fans. Because they are in various political parties and they are free to do whatever they like.”
