Speaking at the pre-release event of 'I Love You', Kannada Superstar and beloved actor Upendra has sounded pretty confident about his "bold, sensational romantic drama". The actor, who has made several unconventional movies, said that he loves the city of Vizag, where the event was held.
The romantic entertainer will hit the screens in a grand way on June 14.
"It's thrilling to be at Vizag. The residents of this city are lucky, as they get to marvel at the beach during weekends. The weather is so good and, more than that, the love and affection of the people here is even greater. Coming to the film, this is my second outing with director R Chandru. By the time it reaches the climax, the film becomes the woman's flick. It talks about unconditional love. It won't have regular scenes and is an extraordinary emotional drama. Husbands and wives should watch it together. The youth audience will come first. Couples will watch next. 'I Love You' also has commercial elements like action and punch dialogues," Upendra added.
Director R Chandru said that he will definitely do a film with Ravi, the son of Ganta Srinivasa Rao, one day. "'I Love You' is my second film in Telugu, the first one being 'Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini'. It was great working with a great actor and director like Upendra garu. Many youngsters ruin their lives not knowing how to confess their love. When, how and to whom to tell I love you is what the film talks about. Upendra sir's characterization will be a major highlight. Besides having 'masth' entertainment, the film is also emotional. I want to do a film every year with Uppi sir," Chandru added.
Music director Dr. Kiran Thotambyle said, "This is my first big film. I am happy to have got to work with Upendra sir, Rachita Ram and R Chandru. I urge the Telugu audience to support me."
Sonu Gowda said, "I only know little Telugu. This is my first Telugu flick. Although I am not seen in the songs and the trailer, there is suspense around my character in the film. I have played an important role. You will know it when you watch the movie."
KGH Hospital superintended Dr. Arjuna said that he was very happy that the event was being held in Vizag.
