In a recent interview with a popular Malayalam magazine, veteran actress and dancer Shobana lauded actress Manju Warrier for playing powerful characters in Cinema. In the candid interview, Shobana revealed that Manju is her all-time favorite actress. “I love Manju Warrier. She has played many powerful characters in her career”, said Shobana in an interview with Grihalakshmi.

As you know, Shobana and Manju were ruling Malayalam Cinema during the 1990s. Though Shobana was the busiest actress down the South for several years, Manju Warrier was active only for a few years in the industry, before she got married to actor Dileep. However, the actress has played a few phenomenal characters in movies and has also shared screen space with A-list stars. In 2014, the actress made her comeback in movies and continues to win the hearts of millions from all corners. The actress was last seen in the techno-horror thriller Chathurmukham.

On the other side, Shobana recently made her comeback in movies with Anoop Sathyan's 'Varane Avashyamundu', which also starred Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. Talking about her besties in the film industry, Shobana said that she has a close relationship with Revathy. She said that Revathi is her best friend forever. "But we didn’t communicate frequently. She is also busy with her job and family,” she added.
