Tanish this week has a release. It's 'Rangu'. Ahead of its release on Friday, the actor spoke with IndiaGlitz and shared some of his heartfelt views.
Talking about his childhood, Tanish says that he grew up in North India since his father was into the Army. "Not many Telugu movies were releasing there. Chiranjeevi garu's movies were releasing and I used to watch them. I am a big fan of Megastar," the actor says.
Confessing that he wants to give up smoking ('I smoke 7-8 cigarettes a day'), Tanish added that his father is his biggest role model. "He has taught me professional values and made me choose the path of ethics in whatever I do," says the actor, who was also a Bigg Boss-2 contestant.
"I can't choose between Tarak anna and Nani anna for 'Bigg Boss'. They both are unique in their own ways. The former is somewhat ferocious and the latter is entertaining," Tanish says.
Admitting that politics is a big no for him, Tanish says that he looks up to Pawan Kalyan. "He is a charming actor. He can attract everybody as an actor. I am loving the way he is moving with people. I never got to meet him personally, though."
Genelia was the youngster's first celebrity crush. What if he was not an actor? "Since I did my Engineering, I would have been an engineer. There was a time when I wanted to write civil services examination. Maybe, I would have attempted it," he reveals.
