Pawan Kalyan has on Tuesday interacted with Jana Sena cadres from Kurnool. During the interaction, he said that he has a unique association with the district.
"Years ago, I was travelling to Hatthibelagal to condole the deaths of victims in a blast. I was told that nobody would turn up. But when people came out on the streets during my visit, I understood how passionately people are seeking change," Pawan said.
He said that fresh inductees in politics have so much enthusiasm but they hardly have a strategy. "We should channelize the energies of those who want to change the system. Their energies should be used for the betterment of society. I have been observing that people have been yearning for change since 2001. They are vexed with the existing political system," Pawan said.
"Leaders are always concerned with only their well-being. They never think about the welfare of the youths," he lamented. "In politics, it always takes at least a decade for a new force to become a reckoning one. We need fresh blood. The problem is that it's not easy for newcomers to withstand in politics," he added.
"Only I know best my strengths and weaknesses. That's why I can withstand any type of problem. I have been preparing myself for politics since 2003," he said.
Pawan said that his party will be in the race in all 175 constituencies in AP. "In how many segments will newcomers be contesting will be decided later," he told the cadres.
