'Das Ka Dhamki' is an upcoming film starring Vishwak Sen. The making of the film has been successful. However, the 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam' actor has experienced financial troubles during the making of the entertainer.

"I am both producing and directing 'Das Ka Dhamki'. I had brought in fight masters from Bulgaria for the film's shoot. This is when a strike was announced (in August this month) and shootings were halted. The film has been costing so much that I and my father have run out of savings to finance it. We also mortgaged the home we are living in," Sen shared.

To make the matters worse, Sen's sister was hospitalized during the making of the film. "I was running out of time and had to wrap up the shoot in 10 days. This is when I learned that my sister was hospitalized. My father hid the secret from me so that I don't panic," Vishwak Sen revealed.

The 'Falaknuma Das' actor added that he couldn't bear it when his sister was moved to the ICU a day later. "I rushed to the hospital crying. I couldn't have stopped the shoot because just too much was at stake. I wanted to be with my sister but the shoot had to go on. I was crying in private on the movie set off the camera. Those were really turbulent days. In spite of the adversity, I smiled in front of the camera. That day, I realized how much I love acting and cinema," Sen recalled on Aha's 'Unstoppable 2'.
