I had tested positive for Coronavirus: Genelia

'Bommarillu' actor Genelia D'Souza has revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 three weeks ago. On Saturday, she tested negative. The Mumbai-based celeb is now doing fine. The toughest part was to stay isolated.

I count my blessing but staying in isolation was challenging. No amount of FaceTime and digital immersion can kill the evil of loneliness. I am happy to be back with my family and loved ones, the yesteryear actress said.

She advised everyone to surround themselves with loved ones. Test early, eat healthy, stay fit, the 'Ready' actress added.

Unlike most celebs who have been infected with the virus, Genelia has chosen to make her status public only after she got cured of it.
