SS Rajamouli has given a pat on the back of his contemporary, Vamshi Paidipally. The director in question has showed a new side to his talent. Oopiri, released today, has opened to critical appreciation and audience applause.

Rajamouli has said that while he had watched The Intouchables, he didn't have much faith in the ability of Vamshi. However, after watching the film, he has realized that he had been wrong. "The Intouchables is one of my favourites. Frankly I didn't think Vamsi would be able to handle it. Thanks Vamsi for proving me wrong," he has tweeted.

Rajamouli's views will have many takers for sure. The maker of films like a Munna, a Brindavanam, and an Yevadu has made a bromantic comedy-drama with excellent visuals.
