Speaking at the 21st World Congress of Mental Health in New Delhi on Sunday, 'Devadasu' and 'Pokiri' actress Ileana confessed to suffering from body dysmorphic disorder years ago. "BDD is a mental disorder characterized by the obsessive idea that some aspect of one's own appearance is severely flawed and warrants exceptional measures to hide or fix it. In BDD's delusional variant, the flaw is imagined," Wikipedia explicates.
Saying that she didn't realize she had the disorder, the yesteryear star heroine added that she also had been in a depressed state of mind for years. In a sort of exhortation, she noted, "There is a lot of beauty in your imperfections, in your uniqueness."
Ileana, often outspoken about real issues, said that stars are not perfect much as audiences think.
The 31-year-old actress often posts on her social media pages the pics clicked by her photographer-boyfriend Andrew Kneebone.
