'Will You Marry Me?' has released and as has turned out, Shreyas Talpade has come across as the best part of an enterprise that doesn't quite have many redeeming factors. The actor too is happy that he has managed to break the shackles of a serious affair like 'Iqbal' or the stereotyping that he feared after the success of 'Golmaal 2' and 'Golmaal 3'. Stating that he is pretty much getting his due in the industry, Shreyas expresses happiness over the fact that he is able to different films now.
"Yes, that has been an interesting development as well," he says, "Post 'Iqbal' I feared being typecast but fortunately films like 'Golmaal' and 'Om Shanti Om' didn't allow that to happen. Somewhere down the line these films happened to change the perception about me. Later when I started having these apprehensions that whether I would stuck in multistarrers and comedies, a film like 'Will You Marry Me?' came along. It is good because as an actor I need to keep myself fresh. If I continue to do the same thing time and again, people would get bored."
Still, despite the change that the film has brought in his professional life, Shreyas isn't willing to go overboard about it.
"Whatever happens, whether good or bad, I am ready for that. 'Hum Tum Shabana' wasn't a good experience for me when it released. I don't want to go through any similar emotions now," he smiles before signing off.
