The pre-release event of 'Majili' was held on Sunday evening. Akkineni Nagarjuna and Victory Venkatesh graced the occasion as chief guests.
Nag began his speech greeting his family's fans and Venky's. As he took the 'F2' star's name, the 'Officer' star mimicked Venky's trademark mannerism.
"I am confident about 'Majili'. I heard that two of the songs in the movie have already become blockbusters. When I watched Shiva Nirvana's first movie ('Ninnu Kori'), I really liked it," Nag said. "I must add that the trailer is so very good. As I watched it, I had tears in my eyes twice. When I had watched the teaser, I was a bit sad because of the last line in it: 'Bad guys always get good wives'. In my son's case, he is a good guy who has found a good wife," he added.
The actor then proceeded to talk about the personal lives of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. "When I watched 'Ye Maya Chesave' many years ago, I loved the pair and told myself that they were good in the movie. Years later, they did 'Manam' with me. But I couldn't realize that romance had been brewing between them. They successfully concealed it from me!" Nag said as the couple blushed.
