IndiaGlitz has spoken to 'RRR' writer Vijayendra Prasad about Pawan Kalyan. We asked him why Pawan could not have been cast for a film like 'RRR'. The writer answered saying that Pawan is a super megastar finding a match for whom is not possible. "So far, I haven't written a story for him because no producer has approached me with his dates," Prasad added.
He shared an interesting anecdote as well. "Back in the early 2000s or so, I happened to bump into Pawan Kalyan garu at some Art of Living training centre. When someone introduced me to him, I asked who he is out of ignorance. By then, films like 'Badri' and 'Toli Prema' were already there. I couldn't expect to see him at a center where Sudarshan Kriya was being taught," Prasad said.
He then said that the interval bang of 'Baahubali-2' was inspired by people's craze for Power Star. "I happened to switch on the TV. An audio release function was being aired. Whenever someone mentioned Pawan Kalyan's name, the audience screamed in delirium. Nothing else could be heard for another five minutes. No matter which hero it was on the dais, he would surely have felt jealous. I got inspired by this in writing the interval episode in 'Baahubali 2'. During his coronation, Bhallaladeva is utterly jealous when the kingdom's people hail Baahubali aloud," Vijayendra Prasad said in 2017 in a TV interview.
