Siddhu Jonnalagadda has revealed that he was insulted and body-shamed five or six years ago by an unnamed person. Unable to take the insult, he went home and broke into tears.
"That person mockingly asked me how I could even think of becoming a cine hero with a face marred by post-pimples scars. I couldn't say anything. I went home and wept in private," the actor, who shot to fame with 'Guntur Talkies', revealed on the latest episode of 'Unstoppable 2' on Aha.
As the 'DJ Tillu' actor narrated the incident, host Nandamuri Balakrishna said that he too was teary and expressed his disgust about the insult. The 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor stood up and gave Siddhu a hug for holding onto his goal despite the body-shaming incident.
Siddhu also recalled the joy he experienced when 'Krishna And His Leela' found a direct OTT release during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. "It was a huge relief that day. Three years of effort was paid off by the offer," the actor said.
