Goan beauty Ileana D Cruz who sizzled next to Junior NTR in socio fantasy mega budget film 'Shakthi' stated that she couldn't connect to the film. She said that what director Meher Ramesh narrated to her is different from the final output of the movie.

Ileana said that she didn't promote 'Shakthi' because the movie didn't turn out to be how she was told about it.

Meher Ramesh narrated the story to me. But the final output was totally different. He made a lot of changes and I can't help it. It turned out to be a flop. I couldn't connect to the story and hence didn't promote it. But Nenu Naa Rakshasi is a better film and I am sure it will do well Ileana said in an interview.

She added that Shakthi had too much of everything and the story was too confusing for her.

Shakthi had too much of everything in it and it was a mix of lot of things. I didn't understand the story at all. I am not a hypocrite to smile and tell people to go watch my film when I am myself not convinced about it Ileana said and defended her Rs 2 crore remuneration saying she is being paid so much because she is in demand.
