At a time when Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has led to so many calling out nepotism, Prakash Raj has said that nepotism is very much a reality in the film industry. The versatile actor, sharing an old speech delivered by Sushant at a film awards function, tweeted that he had to live with nepotism.
"#nepotism I have lived through this .. I have survived ... my wounds are deeper than my flesh," the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor remarked. He then made a touching comment sympathizing with the Bollywood actor. "But this child #SushanthSinghRajput couldn’t.. will WE learn .. will WE really stand up and not let such dreams die," Prakash Raj added.
In the video, Sushant can be seen opining that we can do nothing about nepotism. "If nepotism can coexist (with outsiders), then it is not a problem. But if you deliberately disallow the right talents to come up, the whole structure collapses," Sushant added in the video.
It's rumoured that Sushant had lost a few big movies because of nepotism in the industry.
