On the exterior Ranveer Singh may be demonstrating a casual persona but deep down inside there is a burning ambition in him to be seen as an actor to reckon with. While 'Lootera' is the sole film that has been announced with him, isn't there any other film that he would be stepping in near future?

"I guess it is too premature to talk about it right now," says Ranveer, "I try to do things step by step and now that I am doing 'Lootera', my second film would have to wait. I do one film at a time and then move on to the next. If I had to follow a different model, I could have already blocked my date diary for next six years and feel content. However I don't want to do that. I want to have that space available in my calendar so that tomorrow if 2-3 good films suddenly come up, I can accommodate accordingly instead of worrying about my earlier commitments."

In that case how about his other commitments? After all, is he or is he not committed to Anushka?

"Aah, so there you go again," he chuckles, "All I can say is that she is a great friend of mine and there is tremendous understanding between us. Every time we speak and meet, there is no gap or time lag that we feel. Well, that's about it."
