The pre-release event of 'Majili' was held on Sunday evening.  Akkineni Nagarjuna and Victory Venkatesh graced the occasion as chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Naga Chaitanya said that he never imagined that he and Samantha would be doing a film together so early after marriage.  "Director Shiva Nirvana's story suited our expectations.  Doing 'Majili' has only boosted my confidence.  I never had any doubts while doing the film, thanks to the confidence that Shiva gave me.  He is the most honest filmmaker and human being I have met in the industry," Chay said.  

"Sam has played Shravani in the film and you all will remember her character for long.  Thaman has lent life to the film by scoring the BGM.  DoP Vishnu Sarma has made the visuals look like a painting," he said.  

"I can't digest it when my promises fall apart.  With 'Majili', we are calm and confident," the Akkineni hero added.

Samantha said that 'Majili' is a unique love story that says that love is strength and responsibility.  "This is going to be as important in my career as 'Ye Maya Chesave' and 'Manam'.  You all guys will talk about my husband after April 5," Sam said.
