At India Today's Conclave on Saturday, Ram Charan spoke about the first tryst with SS Rajamouli at the latter's residence in 2017 in the context of talking about how 'RRR' all began.

"I don't know whom Rajamouli sir called first, but Tarak was already there at his residence by the time I went in. Tarak's glance at me conveyed some excitement about what the director might tell us next. When the director broke the news that he would be doing a two-hero movie with us, we were surprised," the Global Star said, adding that Tarak (since he was the first to reach Rajamouli's residence) assumed that he was the film's solo hero.

"I swear we wouldn't have done this film for any other director. Putting our careers in the hands of someone (was a big choice). Jr NTR's family and our family have been seen as rivals by fans for decades. I and Tarak don't have anything against each other personally," the Mega Power Star said.

The decision taken by Charan and Tarak has paid bountiful returns for sure.
