Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja may be an on-screen 'Idiot', but off-screen, he is someone else. A family man, he is a no-nonsense individual. Not exactly known for saying sensational stuff, he recently debuted on Twitter. It seems the star is well on his way to become vocal about a few socio-political issues. His latest tweet, on the issue of women's safety and how the lechers out there should be treated with an iron fist, is a case in point.

"I am so angry that I don't know how to react to incidents of rape and brutality on women. Even Saudi way of treating culprits won't be enough," he has said. In all likelihood, he has made this tweet in the wake of the recent sexual assault on actress Bhavana.

While the first part of the tweet is an expression of his personal emotion, the second part talks about a solution considered medievalistic and uncivilized. While one holds several such Facebook Outrage-type views, societies need proper solutions, not punch lines!
