In the recent cabinet reshuffle of the Karnataka government the prestigious Home Minister has gone to senior Congress I personality Ramalinga Reddy, he was shifted from Transport to Home.

The first thing Ramalinga Reddy had done taking over Home Minister portfolio given up bodyguards for him and assured free traffic. I am not going to use the minister facility in traffic. People would curse me he expressed speaking to media.

People in Bengaluru especially face traffic blockade. As Home Minister I do not want to further trouble the people. In my private and government functions my vehicles would move with the public vehicles says the humble and simple Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy.

The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah alone should get facilities because of his tight schedule. The chief minister has also given his opinion not to curb the ambulance vehicles that come in his routes.

Ramalinga Reddy has also given up police vehicles and would travel in department vehicles. One vehicle is enough for my portfolio he disclosed.
