Kriti Garg, the heroine of last Friday's release 'Raahu', has issued a video statement saying that she is safe. Earlier today, she was in the news when her 'Raahu' director Subbu Vedula lodged a police complaint with Panjagutta police against an impersonator who tried to dupe her by posing as 'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The impersonator had told the actress that she would be auditioned for a role opposite Prabhas in a movie. The actress went to Mumbai to audition for the role, only to realize that it was a hoax.

"I am safe at my house in Mumbai. It is true that an impersonator called me. After reaching my home, I dozed off and my mobile was switched off. This caused worry in my director, who went to the police to complain against the impersonator," Kriti said.
